Dreams are powerful, weird, mysterious and frequently confusing and many people today are fascinated by them. They can be like a swirling mist or they can be crystal clear. Dreams link us to the supernatural because they can seem urgent and important yet they are often difficult to understand. Increasingly, followers of Jesus are discovering that dream interpretation to be a wonderful way of getting into meaningful conversations with those that do not yet know of life in Jesus.
Around a third of the Bible narrative flows from the interpretation of dreams and dreams play an important role in God’s communication to His people throughout the Old and New Testament: Jacob and Joseph in Genesis, Daniel, Mary’s husband Joseph, the Apostle Paul to name a few. Increasingly, God is communicating to His people today through dreams and visions and bringing people from other faiths into a life-giving relationship with Jesus through dreams and revelation. For too long, the western church has shied away from dreams because the Biblical model for unravelling their meaning had been lost or ignored.
Job 33:14-18 God always answers, one way or another, even when people don’t recognize his presence. In a dream, for instance, a vision at night, when men and women are deep in sleep, fast asleep in their beds - God opens their ears and impresses them with warnings to turn them back from something bad they’re planning, from some reckless choice, and keep them from an early grave, from the river of no return. – The Message, Eugene Peterson
John Paul Jackson, who heads up Streams Ministries International, is an internationally acknowledged prophetic voice, who discovered at an early age that he had a gift for interpreting dreams by divine revelation. Challenged by Bishop David Pytches to pass on this skill and equip others to do the same thing, John Paul spent many years studying dreams and their interpretations in the Scriptures before writing these courses.
This course is filled with supernatural adventure and prophetic insight. This advanced level course reveals in greater depth how God speaks through dreams and visions. It consists of 21 hours of teaching. In addition to class time, optional homework assignments are provided.
